Vietnam - the crazy house - and organizing a club holiday

Problem
In Singapore a Toastmasters Group, Tampines Changkat, went on a holiday to Vietnam. It's one of the things which binds the group together. It is also an incentive for singles to join the group, a promised holiday with people you know.

I saw their slide show at other clubs. Tampines is near Changi Airport. I belong to Tampines Changkat Advanced (a second club which meets in the Tampines Changkat Community Centre.

Tampines West CC

Another group, Tampines West, meets at the Tampines West Community Club. I saw the slide show at Tampines West when it was presented as a speech. The slides popped up again, flashed past fast, at the end of a speech contest at Tampines Changkat.

The most memorable and unique slides were of the group in the Crazy House. I afterwards checked this out on TripAdviser. The Crazy house is on my list of places to see or stay at on my next trip to Vietnam.

Also on my list, to raise the question of a group holiday with other groups, not only in Singapore, also in the UK and elsewhere.

Now this does require a person to do a lot of organizing. First there is the paperwork in advance. Secondly is somebody willing and able to drive in a foreign country. (If somebody comes from that country or speaks the language, good. But if you can get a group of ten or more, you might qualify for some free items, a driver's room, a free meal for a driver.

You can pay a charge to enter the Crazy House and see the interior as a tourist; or book a bedroom for a night.
