This is a bagel. Yes, most people know. A whole bagel has to have a hole. A bagel fills a hole in your tummy.
My family drove all around looking for the bagel house. Then asked a passer-by. It was in a black alcove down an alley. Could anybody find it? Yes. Long line-up, or as we Brits say, queue.
Park up. Walk back. Still a long queue. Now the Brits are famous for queuing for buses. We queue politely when we have no choice. However, stat doesn't mean all personality types are patient.
My man on a mission decided to go back another time and another day, not peak hour at the weekend.
When I finally get to taste their bagels I shall give you my verdict.
My husband says, it could go like bubble tea. Busy, busy for a year. Then gone. This year I am into bagels. Bagels have been around since before I was born.
Now, what's for lunch? To read more about bagels, and salt beef and B & K and drool over the photos, go back to my previous posts.
