How to get help from phones: medical icon for emergency; medical history, kids, dog rescue, and more

Problems
How do you get help when you have an ongoing medical problem? How to be prepared when you have no problem - yet.

Answers
We are so lucky to have mobile phones. And we can train children as soon as they can use their arms and speak to make an emergency call.

Stories
I just read three stories about people and animals who were saved in situations of danger.
1 At a ski resort in Italy, people were rescued from a building covered by snow in an avalanche.
2 Videos show a rescue of a dog from Norcia in Italy.
3 A hill walker was helped by others.
4 A mother who had a seizure and blacked out was saved by her four year old son who phoned for help, even though he has difficulty speaking.

YouTube and other sites have the dog story.

Tips
The mother who was rescued mentioned having a medical icon on her phone. I checked this out on line:

In the UK we dial 999 for emergencies, but 111 for medical advice.
In Singapore you dial 999 for the police but 995 for medical help. I saw this on a sign by a swimming pool.
