 Saturday August 25 to Monday Aug 27, Notting Hill Carnival.

Some of the events are paid for. Saturday has paid-for events. \

Sunday and Monday are free.

Yes, it's free. But note the station opening and closing times. 

What To See And Hear

Expect parades. Three miles. Also the streets are filled with dancers and musicians and bands, sales of food and clothing, and fun.

You can see some of the dramatic, clourful costumes on You Tube, and the scantily clad revellers twerking.

Family day, for parents and children, is means to be more sedate, music without the - ahem.

Where And When?

Why is it running on Monday, rather than Friday? Because Monday is the August Bank Holiday (national holiday).. No work. Play day.

The starting time this year is 10 am. Becauase of a sound curfew, it ends at 7 pm.

Write you mobile phone number on the arms of children so if they get lost an adult can phone you to say where they are.

This show is for the trade, attended by wine producers around the world, those looking for distribution in other countries, hotels, restaurants and wine shops, big buyers and invenstors, and journalists who specialise in wine and spirits, beer, mixers and more.
