I like sculptures which have colour, feature people, relate to the history of the area, or have curves. Here are two good example from the Central Business District of Singapore.
My first thought was that these little sculptured characters are carrying umbrellas. But the original use of umbrellas in the East was as sunshades and many young ladies still use umbrellas as sunshades as they walk along on hot, sunny days.
