On Facebook I saw the most amazing video. A double door opens to reveal what looks like the inside of a gleaming gemstone in purple from the Lydia ... Gems Hall. As you can see on their website, they have eleven halls which include a Children's Hall and a Sports Hall.
Story
Why did I not see it when I visited Dallas, Texas? Although Dallas had various museums, this one was built and opened to the public in December 2012. It is named after the Perot family who raised the funds.
What is unusual about it? The greenery roof. The unusual things you can see and do include recording your own heartbeat.
Practical Tips
If you buy The Dallas City pass it includes admission to this museum.
The online gift shop sells a fifty year calendar and a Fibonacci necklace.
