Unfortunately the Heath Robinson museum in Pinner Park in North west London is closed. However, you can walk around attractive historic Pinner which Heath Robinson knew as he lived there. See the old Vicotry pub (there are three old wood-beamed pubs).
A particular novelty and the church at the top of the hill with the coffin in the sky projecting from an obelisk near the pavement (Americans say sidewalk). The story goes that the deceased\s man\s will said his descendants would not inherit when he was underground, so they put his coffin in the air above ground.
The Memorial Park at the bottom of the hill, entrance near Pinner railway station is restful and attractive. You can escape the hustle and bustle of the traffic, walk slightly upill and stroll around the pond.
Heath Robinson was known for his fanciful and elborate amusing drawings of impossibly compicated solutions to everyday problems. All complicated absurb machinery of lines representing directions of trajectory.
In times like these, with Covid-19 dominating the news, when laughter is the best medicine, a little laughter, or a lot of laughter, is welcome.
Near the Chapel Lane entrance to the park, (which may be closed but can be approached from inside) you should be able to find a carving honouring Heath Robinson.
The artist, Tom Harvey, sculptor who created the carving also made another carving in the park. He uses chainsaws to cut tree stumps and has sculptures all over England. One is in Regents Park, central London, showing a girl and a jaguar.
