Oscar Wilde, Merrion Square, Dublin, Ireland

Oscar Wilde said, The best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one.

How relevant to today.

His other famous sayings include:

A poet can forgive anything but a misprint.

I have nothing to declare but my genius.

"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars".[22

You can see statues of Oscar Wilde in Ireland, in England, and his monument in Pere LaChaise cemetery in Paris, France. I came across the statue in London by chance. A great photo opportunity. It started raining. So the seat got wet. I had a photo under an umbrella. The photographer knelt down to get in both me and the head of the statue. He got wet.
