Harrow Statue In Gleaming Gilt - hygeinic statue on Hygeia house

When you stand in the bus station in Harrow facing St Ann's Shopping Mall you see a gilded statue on the wall opposite. She is the Greek Goddess Hygeia, also a Roman Goddess. You can see from the sign underneath her in large letters across the top of the square columns that the building is named Hygeia house. From her we get the word hygiene. Health and hygiene.

She appears to be doing her morning exercises whilst waiting for the bus. If you want to see more statues of energetic females in Harrow, look for the skipping Katy.

If you travel to Poland, in Krakow you can see an art deco statue of Hygeia.

High tec toilet wastebins near the National Gallery, Singapore, and distracting grammar

First they need Grammarly. It should read: 'Do not dispose of' .

The word disposed does exist and could be used in the sentence: I was feeling ill-disposed. Not quite what was mean by the writer of this poster, but how I felt after noticing the grammar. I just gave a workshop on Improve your English. I am preparing another for businesses.

Diapers is American. The British would say nappies.

I was so distracted by the grammar, that I read the instructions later.

The bin on the right of the toilet has a sensor. Amazing.

Let's celebrate all the good things in Singapore.

This toilet was in the Adelphi building on the corner of Coleman street, which you pass from City Hall MRT station, on your way to the National Gallery of Singapore. The lower floors of the Adelphi have shops and eating places. Upstairs, or up the lift (Americans say elevator) are offices.
What does MCST stand for? MC means Management Corporation.
