When you stand in the bus station in Harrow facing St Ann's Shopping Mall you see a gilded statue on the wall opposite. She is the Greek Goddess Hygeia, also a Roman Goddess. You can see from the sign underneath her in large letters across the top of the square columns that the building is named Hygeia house. From her we get the word hygiene. Health and hygiene.
