Break time can be used to phone friends or video call friends and ask what lessons they have been learning and what they enjoyed.
Bake In The Break
Or you could show food from around the world. And have a short cookery lesson. When my son was in the boy scouts in the UK, they had to cook a meal for their parents. A school class could have every pupil researching and demonstrating a simple recipe.
You could all bake in the morning break and eat the bread at lunch time or the cake for tea time - or next day.
We look up recipes in online in French and translate them.
