I am a member of a Singapore Online toastmasters. We meet every Friday evening, 9 pm to midnight online from our own homes or offices, occasionally walking down the street on our way home.

I am also Area Director of S3. The whole of Singapore is going online for contests, following a directive from Toastmasters International head office in the USA.
Another regular club held an online meeting.

I was late logging onto the online training. It didn't matter. The meeting started late because those from the previous meeting were still asking questions.
We were waiting to hear from TI in the USA. TI already banned in person meetings. A wise precaution.
We discussed the mechanics of online meetings. How many people are needed? A spare person for a long contest so that a person in charge of the logistics can go off to the toilet or for a drink

How do you prevent cheating in table topics?
You need a training session, to learn to use the mute button.
Make contestants swear on the bible?
Objection - not everybody is religious.
How To Take Photos Of Slides
You can take a hoto of your screen. You have to be a certain distance to avoid curved lines forming. Move back until the lines disappear.
You have to move your camer or mobile so it is not in the picture. But the picture is still framed with nothing missing at the top or bottom or sides.
A way around this is to use print screen. On many laptops it is top of the keyboard, or lower right, perhaps with abbreviated words such as PrtSc..
Reasons for not having Only One Expert or Trainer
Apart from not having a monopoly, if the whole organization relies on one person, if anything happens to them, such as illness, death, disagreement, travel overseas, sickness or death, the whole organization loses its expert and expertise.
I always used to think it was pernickety and irritating when somebody stood up with an objection and started quoting from a rule book. However, now I can see the point.
1 Everybody abides by the same rules. Fairness.
Saves arguments.
Speeds decision making.
Why ban face to face contests?
If face to face meetings are banned later by the government, shoe countries which went online earlier have an advantage. Those who did not are not on a level playing field.
