Warehouse Restaurant Clarke Quay - Great Vietnamese kebabs - but watch out for the chilis!

Spring rolls, Vietnamese style kebab, at Warehouse restaurant, Clarke Quay. Photo by Angela Lansbury.

We ordered vegetarian spring rolls in order to get some vegetables with our meat. The kebabs are Vietnamese style, a flat piece of what we presume is minced up chicken. Very tasty. Loved it.

The sauces were excellent. Tasty, not too spicy and hot.

My biggest mistake. Taking home the red chilis.
Leftover chilis which I took home. And ate! Photo by Angela Lansbury.

Then eating them! They were hot hot hot in my throat, tongue, roof of my mouth, nose. What were they for! Does anybody eat them?
Don't risk it.

Why did I eat them? Because the restaurant sauces were not too spicy for me. I thought the red chilis might be like red peppers, a modern version, mild with nothing like the tingling fire of the older versions.
