Take a Harry Potter tour or gift one to a friend. You have a choice of walking tours, bus tours, or studio tours ending with tea. Nothing Hayy Pottery about the tea, although it is very British with finger sandwiches and scones.
No time or money? Starting at Kings Cross station, there's the Harry Potter shop and the amusing luggage trolley half through the wall. But you have to queue and pay for the photo, and queue to get into the shop.
Can't get to London? There are Harry Potter shops all over the world, in the UK in Edinburgh, Scotland, York, England, London, England, Singapore, and New York in the USA. And terminal 5 at Heathrow.
You can buy skirts, sweaters, jackets, ties, for girls or boys. Also birthday cake candles. Plus aprons, cookie cutters, cookie stamps, and ice cube moulds and owls
I did the studio tour and loved it. I bought a white owl puppet whose head turned.
In Edinburgh visit the Elephant House (tea room with plaque) and Spoon Cafe, both places where she wrote and The Balmoral Hotel where she stayed.
Around the UK you might also visit Oxford and Gloucester Cathedral.
