Preparing for Christmas - Dutch Letters made from dough with marzipan

Which country will you be in at Christmas time? What are your plans for presents and food? Want to do, or experience, something new?

Here's what to look for. The Dutch have a version of the German stollen, a cake made from a long tube of dough rolled around a a pencil like tube of marzipan. The dough rope you end up with can be twisted to spell the initials of those present at lunch or dinner.

You can't wait until Christmas? Then do what the Dutch do. The Dutch eat this cake on December 5th.
