Chateau in France, a cultural centre owned by an Esperanto association, holds summer courses for learning and speaking Esperanto.
At other times of year you can stay a night or more for free, or a small contribution towards food if they provide breakfast, with esperanto speakers who want to converse with you in Esperanto.
Learning Esperanto
It takes about two hours to go ghrough the pronunciation of the letters and the 16 easy grammar rules.
Esperanto means I hope.
Learn the language online free from Lernu, which is run by an Esperanto association, or on Duolingo.
People who have learned Esperanto reckon it might take you 100 hours to learn the language, far less than most languages. That would be an hour a day on Duolingo for 100 days, or half an hour a day for less than a year if you plan on taking a holiday or a series of hoestays next year.
