How to edit your travel photos - starting with the map

I start with a map of the country on the world, or in relation to next door countries. Wikipedia is a good source of copyright free pictures.

I also include the country's flag. Label it with the country.

You can often get two photos from one by selective editing. Or start with the big picture, then show a close-up.

Add captions. Map of Cambodia, showing it is on the sea to the West, with Thailand to the north and Vietnam to the East - handy if you want to do a two-country trip.

Add people. To boost readership, add famous people. Add the British Royal family, Trump, Marilyn Monroe. Add pictures of them at the destination. Find their hotel, restaurant, stadium, event.

(More later.)
