A good time to visit Bristol would be during the balloon Festival. But there's lots more to see in Bristol.
My new facebook friend Martin features a photo of the Energy Tree at Millennium Sq. in Bristol on his page. Here it is below. The 3D planetarium is to the right.
Martin says that The Energy Tree, on the left. uses solar power to charge mobile devices so people can plug theirs in at the tree's base. The website describes how they have charitable status so it's their duty as well as their pleasure to do something for the community and they are working with people in need of help to crate new things.

Circular Cottage Bristol is owned by the National Trust. Another cottage, Rose Cottage, is available for holiday lets.
