Some Songs For Learning Foreign Languages

On the Facebook Polyglot page I asked:

Can you recommend any songs which teach you current modern useful words such as numbers or days of the week? In French, Spanish, or any other language? In English we have ten green bottles, and Simon Says for parts of the body.

These are some answers i received.

All for French.

1 Simon Says in French is Jacques A Dit. Not a song though.

2 In youtube go to channel : comptines pour enfants.

3 Jean petit qui danse for body parts or

4 Savez-vous planter des choux for body parts

5 1,2,3 nous irons au bois for numbers (up to 12)

6 Lundi des patates for days of the week or

7 L’empereur, sa femme et le petit prince for days of the week.
