Dundee, famous for Dundee Cake and now the V & A - Crumbs!

The V & A Dundee. Photo by  in Wikipedia.

What did we say as an exclamation before swearwords? Crumbs! That's a suitable word to say when eating Dundee cake or seeing it in the supermarket for Christmas, or travelling, or looking at a picture of dundee's design museum, the ultra-modern V & A (Victoria and Albert) museum in Dundee. From the outside, the Dundee V and A looks like slices of bread.

The museum opened for press previews in September 2018 and opened officially in January 2019. the opening included a fireworks display and a visit by Prince William and Kate (who most people will recall met at university in Scotland). Time magazine voted the the museum/exhibition the top place to visit.

The outside looks ultra-modern but inside is a wonderful piece of recreated history. The wood-panneled cafe which had been in storage for years.

What should you eat when visiting this museum or reading about it?

Dundee Cake.
