I often create a calendar for the year ahead in December or January. This year, 2023, I am doing it in February because the Covid situation has changed and improved. The opening up of mask free transport and collection of trace together devices in the week starting Monday Feb 13th 2023 and other encouragements to travel has made visiting exhibitions more attractive.

March 1st St David's day Wales. Flower yellow daffodil. (I suggest Welsh lamb and Welsh cakes, which are like triple height pancakes .with currants, about the width of a muffin, served hot with butter, fabulous. Bought cold on a train from Paddinton to Wales, not so good.

March 17th St Patrick's Day Irish bars are decorated. Green beer, high green hats. Big in the UK, USA, Singapore, Belize in central America. Drinking and singing Irish songs. Expect to see revellers with green hats on trains.
