You might be interested in the Table Tennis Museum if your days of tennis are over, or you only have room for a table tennis table in your house and back garden.
(In the USA the back garden would be called a yard - misleadingly to the British, who are puzzled to find Americans universally calling the back yard abbreviated to the word yard. Although modern homes London, like those in New York have just a yard, whilst many more homes in the USA have space for a garden - but I digress.)

Table Tennis Museum in Shanghai
The website of the Table Tennis Museum in Shanghai is a wonderful website. Apart from he ease of use with English, French and German languages, you have a picture of the huge building outside, a map of the rooms, click on each room to see what is inside. You must look at the website, whether you are interested in table tennis or interested in website design.
The Table Tennis Museum is in Shanghai, China. Shanghai was my favourite city in China. Whilst Beijing is as sprawling as Los Angeles, Shanghai is equally big but with a defined waterfront like San Francisco. Shanghai is a proper size city with lots of museums, old areas, new areas, history.
The onomatopoeic (sounds like what it describes) word ping-pong is Chinese.
