Preparing A Presentation or Event - how to add anthems and music

What music or sound effects can I add to my presentation?

Whether you are simply showing your holiday slides to your family, or hosting the Olympic games, you can enhance the event by adding music.

Your options include:

1 Silent music while all stand to attention.
For a funeral, a military funeral, head of state, or opening ceremony.
2 Jokey music as clown, singer or speaker approaches. Keeps the audience expectant and fills in time and makes the speaker or performer smile.
3 Different music for all speakers. Can be something relevant. School song.
4 Motivational message. Can be as short as six seconds. Can be repeated through the speech Simple catchy phrase such as I believe.
5 Chorus for audience to repeat.
Chorus of song or hymn.
Amen after prayers.

National Anthems
You might like the national anthem of a country for an event. A football match. A sports event. A contest. A twin town meeting. A speech contest. A club contest. An annual conference. A wedding.

Etiquette says you play the anthem of the host country first, followed by the anthem of the visitor or winner of the event.

Practise in advance.

This video shows you how to add music. But first you need your music recorded.
