Pretty pink products shown on the outside of the Agrose building in Cyprus.
This is a co-operative, easy to find. See the arch to the cul-de sac on the main road through the village. When we arrived after 4 pm in the afternoon they were shut. I photographed every side of their attractive building.
We then stopped to photograph the pretty domed Orthodox church on the main road by the entrance. I popped into the mini-market (small supermarket). I bought as souvenirs for myself and family or friends back in the UK some inexpensive products from the co-operative.
I asked a local person to confirm the hours of the co-op. They pointed out that the person sitting outside the church drinking was the owner of the family owned Rose factory and he would take us to it. (See next post.)
Supermarket Choices
Should you not have time for the co-op or the rose factory, the larger main supermarket further along the road beside the restaurants had a an even larger choice of loukoumi or Cypriot delight. (Fry's sweet company used to market this as Turkish Delight.)
From their Facebook page I discovered they also market rose flavour ice cream in a tub. Handy in a hotel for a group or family especially if the hotel has a working fridge.
