Often when I travel, I am so tired that I fall asleep straight away.
Setting Alarms
The important act is to note if I have to be anywhere early next day, and, if so, to set an alarm. I used to need to travel with an alarm clock. Now phones have built in alarms, usually simply look for the clock symbol. When travelling, you might want to move the symbol to the front screen of you phone. You do this by simply holding your finger over the symbol and sliding it right or left - in this case on my Samsung phone to the left, until it hops from page to page to the front page.
To be sure you have enough power in your phone, carry a power brick and a lead, ideally two leads. Have a pocket or place where the lead is always kept. The lead could be in the front pocket of your phone in a cross body bag, the right or left lower or upper pocket of your jacket, the inside or outside pocket, or the net pocket on the inside of your suitcase or wheel on airline bag.
You can create a more restful alarm in the morning, you can choose from one of several options on your phone. Or add your own music. It could be a motivation song. Of even make up your own daily to do list in rhyme. Or add the Tibetan singing bowls as wake-up music.
Your phone
Keep a list of instructions for your phone. Think of a word for each sound of the singing bowl. For example, rest, peace, love. You could recall them alphabetically.
Use a thesaurus or internet search to find your words.
If you are sharing a hotel room on holiday, or a dormitory, or wish to listen on transport such as a train or plain, you may wish to carry headphones, or noise cancelling headphones which cut out the outside sounds. Here you can choose your favourite positive words, alphabetically
