All over London you will see knittted hats on the tops of postboxes. Here is one for the coronation.
Central London is full of people celebrating. There are open air street lunches on long trestle tables. This was arranged well in advance because the local council have to be informed about street closures and to advice on health and safety and to give permission.
What about the VIP visitors. How many kings and queens are there and which countries are they living in and ruling?
Charles is King of the UK, plus Australia,Antingua and Barbuda, Belize in Central America, the Bahamas, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.
Wiki has a handy list.
I make the number of kings and queens as fifteen. Plus princes, co-princes, a sultan, an emperor and a Pope. What about Queens? The Queen of Denmark. And several queens consort.
