Some animals may be disappearing, but others are enjoying an expansion. Urban foxes in London. You often see them running across the road at night. They are supposed to be nocturnal, but we saw these at about 9 am, UK time.
This week in the back garden of a home of my family, the fox, vixen, and three infants, accompanied by their parents, who kept a watchful eye on their playfully fighting youngsters and ears alert for other creatures.
Blessing or bane? Supporters of foxes say they keep down the rat population. That didn't work for us. Rats ate the wiring on our car.
