I and my husband drove from London to Portsmouth in June to board a Britanny Ferry to Santander in Spain.
If we had had time, we would have stopped at Guildford for coffee en route.
From the road, you are like to see a momument or tower or two. On the way back, driving from Portsmouth towards London, we passed the three sails.
Equally striking is the high Spinnaker Tower.
