Titanic Travel Wishlist - Titanic Museum

The Titanic museum over in Belfast, N Ireland is another on my wish list. Belfast was the birthplace of the building of the Titanic. The museum just won the UK Customer Experience award. I've watched three videos of the Titanic. I have been to the exhibition at Greenwich and bypassed the exhibition in Las Vegas.

I read the classic book, Night to Remember.

I read on the internet about famous characters while researching an article I wrote, after visiting the museum in Northern England, the birthplace of the founder of the White Star line.

You can also see the Titanic on YouTube.

The route it took from Europe towards the continent of North America - where the lucky survivors landed.

The building of the ship. Which brings up back to Belfast.

Several galleries, extra £3 for an audio guide, and a banqueting floor at the top so you can even hold a wedding reception here.

What does a visit cost? £15.50 for adults. Cheaper for pensioners Monday to Friday, £11.
Unlucky £13 for pensioners at weekends. Concessions £11 for students and the unemployed. Family ticket for two adults and two children £39. Children under 5 go free.

Angela Lansbury is a travel writer, author and speaker. Her book Jewish Travel Tales features famous characters from history and modern monuments to them and their era, for example, the co-owner of the New York department store, and the millionaire passenger on the Titanic, Guggenheim (whose descendant funded the Guggenheim Museum for New Yorkers to enjoy. Guggenheim dressed in his dinner jacket to die like a gentleman, alongside his valet, also suitably dressed.
