When in France eat croissants, pain au chocolat - and religieuses, meaning nuns. These little baby buns or coloured and gourmet baby religieuses look like little nuns wearing coloured hats and white frilly collars. The six flavours are chocolate, vanilla, raspberry, coffee, lemon and salted caramel. They are made with creme patissiere, from fresh eggs, whole milk and an egg, milk and butter choux pastry. I tried them at the Restaurant Show in Earls Court, London in October 2014. Delicious. You can find them at the Ritz hotel in London, England.
