You can't travel? How To Play Bridge on line

Bridge game

My friends play bridge online through Bridge Base Online, for short bbo. You don't pay for a game with friends. You pay only for tournaments.

My friend plays regularly with friends. She says, "You don't see them, but we keep talking to them seaparately on whats app on on our mobile phones next to our computers or laptops.

"The BBO system  deals the cards. You cannot revoke. (Change your mind.) If you make a mistake, you can 'undo'."

I asked her, "How often do you play?"

"We play twice a day. It is quicker than a bridge evening used to be.  We play 16 or 20 hands and it takes about an hour and a half."

'You enjoy it!"

"Yes. Twice a day, and you can chat. We have live pix. We fetch coffee while playing. I take my Ipad into the kitchen.

"My husband was in hospital earlier this year. He is now in a wheelchair, or a chair, and has trouble walking. It's been a life saver for him. It keeps him interested. Keeps him happy. Keeps him in touch with friends."
