Yum yum! looks so good. I ate the cake - green - so typically Singaporean

It looks green to me, like green bean paste. sweet and filling.

One of the cakes is kaya, yellow egg yolk, looks like lemon curd but blander, without the lemon. 

I would call it a bun, not a cake. To me a cake is large and round, like a sponge cake, cut into slices. A cake rises. 

A bun is flat with a sugared topping. A bland bun is too much flour, needs a filling.
