Problem
Where can I see lovely decorated eggs - or look at some for inspiration when doing DIY Easter egg decoration?
Answer
Look at Eastern European eggs - and especially the Easter egg museum for inspiration
In Eastern Europe eggs are decorated at home, using wax to draw a pattern, with a home-made point on a homemade pen. Dyes are natural, such as using onion skins, which takes several hours. Leaves can be used to create patterns. Geometric designs are also popular. Wikipedia explains how to dye eggs and even how to make the writing instrument.

Pysanka, decorated egg, is the singular. Pysanky is the plural.
I just love the idea of the egg shape museum about decorated eggs. It's beautiful, and original.
Egg shape museum is part of a museum complex in Ukraine, where it has become a landmark and symbol.
The eggs displayed inside are stunning, crazy designs, gorgeous colours and uplifting groupings.

An inspired thought. After the agreeing on the exciting idea that the Pysanka museum about eggs should be egg-shaped, they decided to decorate the outside like a dyed egg, then the inside as well. Photo by Lantuszka, from Wikipedia.

Excellent website showed me everything from opera and Jewish music to a Youtube video on how to paint Easter eggs, and the fact that in 1066 Lviv was the biggest city in Europe with a population of 50, 000 compared with 20,000 in London, England.
