Wheat paste Mural Of Amy Winehouse in Croydon (and more Amy Winehouse sights)

Croydon was considered a suitable place for a mural featuring Amy Winehouse because she went to the Brit school in South London which gives the Brit awards to performers.

Wheat paste is based on flour or starch mixed with water and is easily washed away. Alas the the mural disappeared, believed to have been washed away by rain. The maker of the mural hopes to replace it one day. Meanwhile, if you want to see more Amy Winehouse:

A statue of her is in Stables Market, Camden, in North London.

You can also see her in Madame Tussaud's, near Baker Street station in London, England. Photos of her performing in the USA are in Wikipedia.
