You could take them something to eat and share, something which will keep.

Alternatively offer them your time. What would they like you to do? Drive them around? Accompany them to the doctor or hospital or dentist?
Clean the house? Clean the oven? Sort their books into alphabetical order?
Arrange flowers? Weed the garden? Plants seeds for fruit? Plant tomatoes or aloe vera in the window boxes?
There are two well-known sayings:
Fish and visitors stink after three days.
Always leave a room as you found it.
