How do you learn best? Why do you start some language systems and soon get bored? How can you teach others?

Teachers are taught that there are three learning methods. Some people learn best by seeing. Others prefer hearing. Others like to take an action.
To teach others, and yourself, you have to use all three methods.
If you like traditional learning you will read a text book or blog on the train or plane or while waiting. If you like listening you will click on the sound symbol to hear a word and buy discs or systems which combine books and discs. I like Duolingo ap because it is free, divided into short chunks so I can do a small amount every day, and uses both sight and sound.
