Problem
So many temples, so little time. This is a good one. After I'd got fed up with umpteen temples this one was different. You walk up the boardwalk, with water below on both sides. At the far end, circle the square pond with the small temple in the middle. Then walk back. As the way in and the way out are the same, less chance of losing your friend, family, group nor your tuk tuk driver.
No room to get lost. Easy to manage.
Don't expect much of the so-called temple at the end of the walk, just a small monument in the middle of a lake. You photographed from the outside at a distance from the approach or the path circling it.
My favourite part was the long walk along the boards towards it over a man-made lake. The chopped seemingly sunken trees were deliberately cut down. It's like a film set, eerie yet romantic. The beautiful waterscape or landscape.
Yes, you will see some litter and a leftover fishing line or fishing basket made of dried leaves.
No barriers so not a place for kids who lark about or can't walk a straight line.
One you can strike of your list quite fast, on your last day when you are running out of time and want to see the last few temples on your list.
