Problem
Your destination doesn't have enough sockets. Your laptop doesn't have enough USB sockets.
When you check in see if you can plug in your laptops. If there are two of you, you night need to ask for two upright chairs, or an extension lead. Some hotels are very helpful and quickly supply anything you can think of, either from a nearby room or their store cupboard.
Answers
Travel with an electrical socket extension board. This has two uses:
1 You can have two laptops (in a room for two) plugged in at one desk. Or your laptop and the hotel kettle and your mobile phone. (Not near each other! Keep electricals away from water.)
2 The extension board enables you to have your laptop at a convenient spot - the far end of the desk near the window with the petty view, or on the low table provided by the armchairs.
3 Invest in a USB block or USB harbour. We found the cheaper ones don't work as well.
So we bought a dearer one which 38 Singapore dollars from Lazada.
