The Coffee Museum at Jewel, Changi Airport, really is a museum, a small museum, but a genuine museum, as well as a coffee shop. At first from the front it looks like a bustling coffee shop, but then you notice the door at the far end. Yes, that's the museum.
The Museum Room
Inside this compact museum is a miniature treasure house, a museum of coffee, a mental pick me up like a cup of espresso coffee. It has everything you want of a museum. Pictures and panels to read about the past, extraordinary objects. The centre of the room is a giant coffee machine. You can sit at one of the two tables in this room and read the panels above the table, of read the wall panels on the way in or out.
The museum room also has a recreated scene. A man with bare arms was so realistic that I was wondering when he would move and get out of my photo. Then I realized he should be an integral part of it.
Swing Seats
The fun does not stop when you step out of the back room museum. On your left, on your right as you walk into the coffee chop at the front, are swing seats. One lady was reading, from her ipad, I think. I didn't look too closely so as not to disturb her, as she swung gently back and forward. So soothing.
Staff Service
Over at the counter, despite the crowd, I was immediately greeted by a member of staff, ready to serve me or help me, always a good sign.
If you want to stimulate your body and your mind, this is the place.
Where Next?
You now have the energy to climb up and down those stairs to photograph the Jewel's central waterfalls from all angles.

First make a stop opposite as the Cookie Museum, but it isn't a proper museum like the Coffee Museum, but still worth a stop. (See next post.)
