How do you learn and remember Welsh words?
Answer
List them alphabetically Welsh-English and English-Welsh. Listen to words on Duolingo. Add to your list own memory aids for what the words look like and sound like. Here are mine to help you.
What are the signs above letters called?
Circumflex - â hat above the a in French, often showing a missing letter s in another language such as in paste which becomes the French word PâtéWelsh - English

caws - cheese

meat - cig (My memory aid is don't smoke a cigarette when eating meat.)

vegetables - l l y s i a u (my memory aid is thinking of the double ll like two spring onions, then the s as in squash, i as in onion, a as in carrot, u as in turnip, put them all together and you have vegetables)
