Orchids are the national flowers of Singapore.
Singapore is a great stopover between the USA, Europe and Australia and New Zealand. Walking in the Botanical Gardens is free. The Botanical gardens is only two stops away on the Downtown MRT line, from Newton MRT station outside the Sheraton Towers Hotel.
